Superior Position

      Superior Position is a critical element to have in a film. This is when a few characters are in a situation where they know what is going to happen while the rest of the crowd does not. This is a very important piece because it pretty much makes a scene much more interesting. We may find Superior Position in the movie "Zero Day". This movie has two kids that are going to shoot and cause a massacre. Both of those main characters know what is going to happen. They know that they will cause a lot of damage to many in their plot to shoot up the school. We can also connect this to real life as well. There was this one time during Halloween where I saw a boy in a costume hide by some bushes. Eventually, a family of four were about to walk by those same bushes. I knew that they were going to be jump scared by the boy in the costume!

Conflict

    Conflict is out there everywhere we go. Outside, at home, school, in your mind. This is a very important element in creating a successful film. Film is a critical thing we also face in life. Many like to relate to conflicts that may occur in a movie/ scene. Without it, a film would be absolutely completely boring. An example of conflict from a movie can be Edward from "Edward Scissorhands". Edward is a young man with scissors for hands. He has a struggle of fitting in and tries to learn to use his abilities appropriately around many of the other people. In real life, many people struggle to look good around others. They are afraid to show their real selves and eventually attempt to fit in with society. Conflict is one important element in producing a film.

My Film Job

         While making a film, there are many jobs that need to be done. These jobs help make the film a very good film. There are many jobs to choose. One main job that I'd like is pretty much to be an actor. I might not be very good at it, but I think that it would let me be something that is not myself. It would let me escape and feel someone else's shoes. I always have had the curiosity of being someone else. I would like to feel something a nonexistent character would feel and bring it to life. It would also be fun acting with other people that I have never met before. I would also like to see myself as someone else on a big screen. I would absolutely love not being someone else for a bit of time. Another reason would also be expressing myself. There are some feelings that each and every one of us would like to express. This could be one of those times.

      Conflict is a critical element in making a good film. Conflict is needed everywhere you go. Just like our everyday problems, we need conflict in every
